On board food, moorings, dinners out and fuel will be extra to the advertised price, and shared amongst us all (including Skipper & Mate). Typically for a 2 or 3 day weekend, this is around £15 per day (excluding the pub/restaurant meal).
We will provide Friday evening nibbles, wine/beer and meal (please advise any special dietary requirements) so there is no time/traffic pressure to arrive.
The voyage will start on Saturday morning, from Haslar Marina, in Portsmouth Harbour – unless otherwise advised, and usually we sail in the Solent
Breakfast and lunch will usually be on board and we would expect Saturday evening meals to be in restaurants/pubs, so we intend to moor alongside each evening - so you can all get off!.
Our yacht has 11 berths but we are not intending to fill all of these. Our preferred number of occupied berths is 8 – so 6 guests plus ourselves. - we prefer everyone to have their space, and enough sailing tasks to do!
We may have the opportunity, on some weekends, to meet up with other cruising yachts and take part in cruising rallies.
Cross Channel or Channel Island Cruises £170 May, £205 August
As above but will be over 3 day weekends, and will involve at least one night at sea under a watch system. Typically there will be 2 evening meals on board and one in a restaurant.
Foul Weather Gear is available for hire £15 per weekend
