Exciting, challenging and for many, a new kind of experience, sailing is now widely enjoyed as a cost effective means of corporate entertaining and team building.
Our Jeanneau 43's accommodate up to 12 guests each. During their day on the water, guests will have the opportunity to safely participate at a level they will feel comfortable with, whether complete novices or seasoned sailors. The skipper will give a safety briefing, once aboard the yacht, before leaving the harbour and will provide coaching and support during the day.
We provide a personal service tailored to meet your needs and maximise your sailing enjoyment. Please contact us with your specific requirements. It is usually possible to sail to Cowes and back in one day, with time for lunch in Cowes.
Our corporate yacht charter prices start from £800 plus VAT per day – inclusive of skipper, waterproofs, lifejackets, light refreshments and marina fees. In addition, breakfast and lunch can be provided. To extend the experience, you can stay on board overnight or we can suggest a local hotel.
We are based at Haslar Marina, Gosport, within Portsmouth Harbour and just 5 minutes from the Solent. Easily accessible by road, we are just 6 miles from the M27 or the main Waterloo train line goes straight into Portsmouth.
Special events such as Cowes Week and Little Britain are opportunities for more impressive entertainment, without the need to take part in the racing.
We can offer Spectator days and accommodation on board for race crews. Being in Cowes on board a yacht, gives you all the social advantages without the hard work !
Sailing on a yacht is a great opportunity to encourage relationship building and team building. The group will experience a joint activity where everyone has a role to play and roles can be easily changed For example, everyone should experience steering the boat under sail. There are ropes and fenders to be used, sails to be hoisted, set and trimmed, look outs are essential and catering under sail adds to the experience, even if it is only hot drinks !
The skipper will demonstrate various ways of navigating using almanacs, paper charts, electronic plotters, radar, instruments and pilotage. The Solent has a number of hazards, to be safely avoided, which will keep the crew busy.
